Mysľou som v galérii (In My Mind I Am in the Gallery) is a conceptual project exploring the idea of the “virtual gallery” - not as a digital archive, but as a mental space shaped by memory, perception, and imagination. The project questions what truly remains in our minds after visiting an exhibition. Is it a specific artwork, a detail, a color, a spatial atmosphere? Or is it an abstract cluster of thoughts with a concrete emotional meaning?

The concept builds on the inner monologue that accompanies our experience of art. For some, it is continuous and verbal; for others, it is silent, intuitive, and atmospheric. This project attempts to materialize that internal process by translating it into an immersive audiovisual environment. It reflects on how artworks continue to exist in the visitor’s mind long after leaving the physical gallery.

The work focuses on the artistic universe of Laco Teren and imagines what a “virtual gallery” of his work could look like - not as a literal reconstruction of exhibition space, but as a metaphorical interpretation of thought processes and idea formation. Through digital models inspired by specific artworks, the project creates an exploratory environment that allows visitors to navigate, discover, and interact. The experience blends play, atmosphere, and spatial storytelling to bring viewers closer to the essence of Teren’s work.

Rather than replicating physical reality, the project constructs a cohesive audiovisual composition that mirrors the fluid, associative nature of memory. It invites the audience to step into a space that exists somewhere between exhibition, imagination, and introspection - a gallery that unfolds inside the mind.
